Quality seal

Excellent Product Quality 2026

You have been recognized!

Your product has been awarded the “Excellent Product Quality 2026” seal by the German Institute for Product and Market Assessment as part of a Germany-wide study. Unlike the brand-related awards, this seal applies to a single product: it documents an above-average positive perception of that product with regard to workmanship, durability and everyday usability.

Please note that you may only advertise with the certification once you have acquired the license rights to the award. Contact us now, without obligation.

The “Excellent Product Quality 2026” award makes visible what users are already saying about a product. This is exactly where the effect of the seal begins.

A purchase decision is rarely about the brand alone, but about a specific product alongside comparable offers. Technical data is only of limited help here — how a product proves itself in everyday use only becomes apparent in use. An independent award makes that experience visible instead of claiming quality.

The “Excellent Product Quality 2026” seal indicates that a product has been rated positively in public repeatedly and consistently — not in individual voices, but over a longer period and across different sources.

For companies, using the seal offers the opportunity to deploy this positive perception deliberately in product communication — on the packaging, in retail and in advertising.

Award criteria

The award is based on a data-driven analysis of the public perception of individual products in the digital space. Assessment takes place within the respective product category: a kitchen appliance is measured against kitchen appliances, not against bicycles. Four dimensions are taken into account:

Workmanship and material quality: statements about manufacturing quality, the materials used and details of workmanship.

Durability and reliability: feedback on service life, behavior in continuous use and the frequency of defects.

Everyday usability: operability, handling and the question of whether the product delivers what it promises in daily use.

Value for money: the classification of perceived quality in relation to price within the category.

The method

The award is the result of market research carried out specifically to identify products of outstanding quality. Millions of digital mentions were collected and evaluated, taking both positive and negative statements into account.

Social media: Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube

Review platforms: Trustpilot, Google Reviews, Amazon reviews, Yelp

Blogs and forums: online blogs, news portals and discussion forums in which consumers share their opinions and experiences of products

Sentiment analysis: product mentions were subjected to a semantic analysis that does not only distinguish between positive, negative and neutral tone but evaluates along the four assessment dimensions. Thematically related terms and synonyms are included.

Context analysis: beyond individual keywords, the setting in which they appear is evaluated — the same wording can mean different things depending on the product category.

Frequency analysis: the number of mentions was recorded in order to establish which products are discussed particularly often and consistently positively.
